These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms") set forth the conditions for using MultiGoals (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). Users are expected to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms shall apply to all relationships between users and the Service operator regarding the use of the Service.
Article 2 (Registration)
- Registration is completed when an applicant applies for registration through the method prescribed by the Service and the Service approves the application.
- The Service may not approve a registration application in the following cases:
- When false information has been submitted
- When the application is from a person who has previously violated these Terms
- When the Service otherwise deems the registration inappropriate
Article 3 (Account Management)
- Users shall properly manage their account information under their own responsibility.
- Users may not transfer or lend their account to any third party under any circumstances.
- The Service shall not be liable for any damages caused by unauthorized use of account information by a third party, unless the Service is found to have acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
Article 4 (Prohibited Activities)
Users shall not engage in the following activities when using the Service:
- Activities that violate laws or public order and morals
- Activities related to criminal acts
- Activities that destroy or interfere with the functionality of the Service's servers or networks
- Activities that may interfere with the operation of the Service
- Activities that collect or accumulate personal information of other users
- Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
- Unauthorized reproduction, reposting, or sale of the Service's content
- Activities that directly or indirectly provide benefits to antisocial forces in connection with the Service
- Other activities deemed inappropriate by the Service
Article 5 (Service Content)
- The Service is designed to support goal management, task management, and habit formation.
- The features provided by the Service are intended to assist users in achieving their goals and do not guarantee results.
- The features and usage limits of the Service may be restricted by plan. Details are described on the pricing page within the app or on the website.
- The Service may change, add, or discontinue service content without prior notice.
Article 6 (Copyright)
- Copyright of content provided by the Service belongs to the Service or legitimate third-party rights holders.
- Users may not reproduce, repost, sell, or otherwise use the Service's content beyond the scope of private use.
Article 7 (Service Suspension)
The Service may suspend or interrupt all or part of the service without prior notice in the following cases:
- When performing maintenance or updates to the service systems
- When service provision becomes difficult due to earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or other force majeure events
- When the Service otherwise determines that service provision is difficult
Article 8 (Withdrawal)
Users may delete their account from the app settings or the website. After withdrawal, goal and task data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, but may remain in backups for a certain period and cannot be restored. If you are on a paid plan, please cancel your subscription through the App Store / Google Play before withdrawing.
Article 9 (Disclaimer)
- The Service does not warrant that the service is free from defects in fact or law (including defects relating to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors, bugs, and infringement of rights).
- The Service makes its best efforts for stable operation and uptime improvement but does not guarantee constant operation or uninterrupted provision. The Service shall not be liable for any period during which all or part of the service is unavailable due to system failures, communication line issues, external service outages, or other reasons, unless caused by the Service's intentional or gross negligence.
- The Service makes its best efforts to preserve data but does not guarantee the completeness of data storage. The Service shall not be liable for any loss, corruption, or alteration of data, unless caused by the Service's intentional or gross negligence.
- Even if the Service is found liable, to the extent permitted by law, the Service's liability shall be limited to ordinary and direct damages, and the Service shall not be liable for lost profits, indirect damages, special damages, or consequential damages.
Article 10 (Changes to Terms)
The Service may change these Terms at any time without notifying users when deemed necessary. The revised Terms shall take effect from the time they are posted on the Service.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute relating to the Service, the court with jurisdiction over the location of the Service operator shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
